What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how The Bin Butler, a division of Sweep Pea Cleaning Company, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit this website, submit a service request, use the manage-service page, communicate with us, or complete payment through Stripe. Effective July 13, 2026.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including name, service address, phone, email, HOA information, gate/access notes, bin location, bin count, pickup day(s), trash company, selected plan, service notes, SMS opt-in choice, terms acceptance, and messages you send to us.

Technical and operational records

The website may collect IP address, browser/user-agent, timestamps, form session identifiers, checkout status, Stripe checkout session IDs, Stripe customer/subscription/invoice identifiers, payment and service status, email delivery logs, manage-link requests, and security or anti-spam signals.

Payment information

Payments are handled by Stripe-hosted checkout and Stripe billing tools. The Bin Butler website does not store full credit card or bank account numbers. Stripe may collect payment, billing, fraud-prevention, device, and account information according to Stripe’s own terms and privacy notices.

Address verification, geocoding, and maps

If geocoding is enabled, we may send your submitted service address or area to a configured geocoding provider to estimate latitude/longitude for address confirmation and internal service planning. We may store returned coordinates, map label, provider, confidence/status, and timestamp with your service record.

How we use information

We use information to receive and respond to service requests, verify service area, maintain service records, send checkout or manage-service links, reconcile billing through Stripe, schedule service, plan routes, track pickup days and trash companies, contact you, troubleshoot checkout failures, detect misuse, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

SMS, phone, and email communications

If you provide contact information, we may contact you about your request, service schedule, billing, account status, failed checkout, failed payment, cancellation, or support issue. SMS opt-in is optional. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell or share SMS opt-in consent for third-party marketing.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the website and provide service. This may include Stripe, website hosting and WordPress service providers, email/SMS providers, geocoding or map providers when configured, professional advisors, and service personnel or operations tools used to fulfill service.

Legal, dispute, and safety disclosures

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, to respond to disputes or chargebacks, or as part of a business transfer involving The Bin Butler or Sweep Pea Cleaning Company.

Cookies and similar technologies

The website, WordPress, Stripe, security tools, embedded maps, and other service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, or similar technologies to keep the site working, support checkout, maintain sessions, prevent fraud, remember preferences, measure performance, or provide embedded content.

Embedded and third-party services

Pages may include embedded content or links from third parties such as Stripe checkout, Stripe billing portal, OpenStreetMap map previews, fonts, analytics tools if enabled, or other operational tools. Those services may collect information directly from your browser according to their own privacy policies.

How long we keep information

We keep service records, billing identifiers, consent records, access notes, communication logs, and operational history for as long as reasonably needed to provide service, support customers, reconcile payments, resolve disputes, document consent, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, and protect against fraud or misuse.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards for the website and service records. No website, email, SMS, payment system, or internet transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure. Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive information through service notes, gate-code fields, or email.

You may request help updating service details through the manage-service page or by contacting The Bin Butler. You may request access, correction, deletion, or review of personal information, subject to identity verification and legal, accounting, security, or dispute-retention requirements.

Children’s privacy

The website and service are intended for adults who can request and pay for household, apartment, or business service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
